General Announcement #1

We are finally entering the preproduction phase for this project. To start, here is a brief backstory/general description of what our game is going to be about:

[Underground: After Hours]

Currently Project: Underground

A new train station, Grand Square Plaza (totally not inspired by Grand Central Terminal) is currently under development in central California, with hopes of surpassing all areas to become the number one station in America (and in history) and is nearing its final production phase. A top of the line attraction that not only features transportation to and from various locations around the United States, multiple five-star amenities (gift shops, arcades, theatre's etc.), and a multitude of other things that hope to make this place the #1 attraction in the world.

[More on the backstory]

The grand opening of the station is set for one-week's time with most of the work being completed during the day. However, there is no one to patrol the station during the night, in order to prevent tampering with electronics and other variables in the station. There have been complaints by some of the workers who work the day jobs that, due to trespassers, production and finalization can be severely delayed if there's no one to make sure that things like this don't continue to happen.

That's where you come in! The new security guard for hire, your job will be to manage the station during the nighttime hours, making sure that no one trespasses during your shift, while also completing various tasks throughout the night.

For the most part, everything is going smoothly for the first few nights, until eventually something starts to go wrong. Something (or someone) begins sabotaging things behind the scenes, ultimately taking your career into a high-risk investigative process, to root out the perpetrator and ensure this mysterious figure's schemes come to an end.

[Ultimate Design Goal]: We aim to, from this project, create a challenging, yet immersive horror game.
